From 70 year old Grenache Noir vines planted in a clearing of the Saint Jaume forest. After harvest the grapes were de-stemmed and macerated gently for 5 weeks before being pressed into old barrels for a year’s élevage. From a near perfect vintage this is dense and brooding, but with an elegant structure — a perfect bottle for the winter months.
