Carignan / Grenache Noir • 2023
This vintage sees a blend of 60% Carignan Noir and 40% Grenache Noir, harvested from Les Salicaires on clay-limestone soils in Canet, Roussillon. The fruit saw 4 days of whole-bunch maceration, before pressing and élevage at Wilfried’s cellar in Estavar at 1300m elevation. A lush and light red - the bright, juicy red fruits are complimented nicely by its subtle structure and just a touch of spice.
