The grapes were harvested from an 80-year-old parcel, with half de-stemmed and half left in whole bunches. This mix was macerated in an open-top tank outside Romain’s cellar for 3 weeks before a long and slow press. The juice then saw 6 months of elevage in cuve, again outside due to the mild 2022/3 winter. Displaying lush, dark fruits and an energy typical of Romain’s wines, this is one of our favourite wines of the release.
